Our founder and CEO, Mike Pivacek, has been actively engaged in the security industry for over 20 years including work with at risk individuals, executive protection and industry consulting. He has extensive training and practical application in the use of firearms for defensive and offensive purposes. Mike is also an active scuba diver and instructor.
Dan Goldan
VP Home Safety
Dan Goldan has been a Fire Officer and trainer with 38 years of experience in firefighting, technical rescue, dive and water rescue. Public Safety Scuba Instructor since 1997. Corporate Trainer for Dive Rescue Int’l since 1998. Specialties include incident command, dive rescue, swiftwater rescue, technical, recreational and public safety diving, computers, and fire apparatus operation.
Wade Hunsinger
Senior Firearms Instructor
Wade Hunsinger is a US army veteran and an avid hunter. After leaving the military Wade obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and ultimately used his knowledge and experience to start a successful inspection business. His love and respect for firearms started when he started shooting with his father as a child, and continued into his military career where he was qualified on several weapon systems including rifles and pistols. With a healthy respect for firearms and a desire to help others, Wade began instructing in 2019 and has since trained hundreds of shooters in the basic handgun fighting class.
Brett Jones
Senior Firearms Instructor
Brett Jones is retired from the U.S. Army/Colorado Army National Guard with 26 years
of service. While in the military, he was trained and qualified on several different weapons
systems from individual such as the 1911 and M9 as well as the M16 and M4 through crew
served weapons and ending with the M109 Howitzer and the M270 MLRS. He served
throughout the United States as well as overseas in Germany, Korea, Panama and Iraq.
Brett’s civilian experience has involved a number of different areas including corporate
security, mining and the transportation industry. Certifications have included Firefighter and
EMT.
