There are lethal force encounters where point shooting (unsighted shooting) is appropriate and the best solution. As we say in class our priority in a gunfight is to not get shot and this likely implies dynamic movement or "getting off the X". Acquiring and maintaining solid sight picture and sight alignment while moving is virtually impossible and it is in this tactical environment where point shooting comes into it's own. In this class we focus on the skills necessary to move dynamically and still make hits consistently including the takeoff, one handed shooting, various unsighted alignment techniques, the geometry of point shooting and making combat effective hits while on the move from various angles and distances. We are strong advocates for sighted shots but we also know that some situations dictate moving to the far end of the shooting continuum. Duration 8 hours, cost $250, 300 rounds for the handgun of your choice
